lexmark printer

i have a lexmark allin one printer, it is a x1150 two questions. is
lexmark a good brand? is this a good all in one for the money? and what
is diff btwn the x1150 and the 1185 i cannot tell diffs. and is it a
good brand of printers? thnks

Depending on your geographic location a set of ink cartridges for a Lexmark may
cost about as much as a replacement printer. I personally think they are a poor
make. Refill kits for the cartridges are a bit difficult to use and compatible
cartridges are hard to get so you are stuck with pricey original cartridges (as
I said before that may vary in different parts of the world). Lexmark often
bundle their printers with computer systems to get the hardware into the
marketplace and then make profit from consumables (Epson used to do this and
other manufacturers as well, nothing wrong with that!), so if you count the
full cost of printing I think you will find Lexmark printers expensive to run.

They haven't offered such good deals lately, but keep an eye on the Sunday
Taget ad, since they advertize discounted lexmark carts about once a
month. Stay away from CompUSA other computer dealers as they will take
you to the cleaners.
