Lexmark printers? Any good?

I want to replace my HP printers because they are giving me nothing but troubles. Not to mention HP support is abysmal.

I'm currently looking at Lexmark printers because they are (besides HP) the only brand that allows manual fuser temperature adjustment (or so they tell me). This is an absolute must because we print mainly on special media (card stock, vinyl, etc.).

But I have no experience whatsoever with Lexmark printers.

So are they any good? How is color reproduction? Toner cartridge quality (the HP toner cartridges keep breaking down on me)? Overall quality? Will they be a good choice?

Thanks in advance.

Also, I have only had one HP device fail on me in the last 15 years, and that was a printer/fax that wore out from usage. All my other printers I have given away to family and friends because they were still working when I wanted a better unit.

I would give anything to be able to take mine back. Issues fro the very beginning. It only prints when it feels like it.
