You will need Adobe Reader to view file, then you can save it to your PC. If you don't have the reader, it can be downloaded at:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
I would not install the toolbar and any other add-ons. That is just my opinion.
This should handle your basic questions for printing/scanning/copying/faxing for these units.
