Lexmark Z65 Printer

I want to repair a Lexmark Z65 printer, but cannot open it up.
* How do I open the case to get into the mechanisms?
* When I try to print, it throws out the first sheet of paper without printing anything, then continues to run without ever printing anything. The only way to stop it is to unplug it.
* I tried recalibrating the Paper Type Sensor, but that didn't do anything. In fact it still says I have coated paper in it when I have regular paper in it.
* Any suggestions?

throw it in the bin and buy a new one. the ink cartridges for lexmark printers alone cost more than a new printer.

Thanks, iam. I already have a new printer. I just like to tinker and see how things work, so I want to get into this one and see what I find and if I can fix it.

So, can anyone tell me how to get the outer case off?

I still would like to disassemble my Lexmark Z65 printer, but can't get into the outer case. I removed two screws on the back of the printer, but that didn't seem to do anything.

Can someone tell me how to remove the case?
