LFAdvice new desktop

Hello guys! I would like some advice about some computer i'm building. I'll leave the specs here. Im looking to build something within my budget and i would like to know if these ones are the best. I'm looking for a range between 1500-2000 Euros (1200-1700 pounds)
MotherBoard: maximus VII ranger
CPU: i7 4790
RAM: kingston ddr3 2400 mhz 8GB x 4 (I feel that this is unnecessary but a friend of mine recommended this.)
GPU: GTXGeForce 980 (I still need a lot of thought on this one)
Drive: SSD120 gb kingston hyperx sata3, HDD 500GB WesternDrive (I may try to get a better SSD in case i buy 2 RAM's instead of 4)
Power Supply: CoolerMaster 750W

Please let me know how you feel about this! Also be aware that i am kinda noob about this and this build may be completely stupid! That's why i am asking for advice!

The RAM is insane. The performance boost between 1600 and 2400 is actually minimal. You really also don't need more than 16GB except in image and video processing applications.
