LG 19" L1920P any good

I tried the 193p but wasn't that impressed. The stand kept on lowering when I bumped my desk. Also I did notice ghosting. How is LG's 19" L1920P. Anyone try one for gaming?

No way, you didn't like the 193P? 🙁 I've just ordered it. It's a lot of money, too. So, the ghosting... was it bad? im upset now! What games did you try?

193P is terrible for gaming if for strategic games. Any FPS game will be ghosting alot.
193P is based on PVA matrix wich superb for photo editing and it can be tweaked to show 1200:1 contrast ratio! But 20ms response time sounds like a max time, not even average for PVA of last generation.

I was hoping for a lot less ghosting than what I saw. After seeing my friend's dell 2001fp in action, the 193p ghosts alot in comparison. Ghosting was same to me as 25ms panels. The colors were amazing though. I think you should try it, it's worth checking out. But don't expect it to not ghost. Also i think the stand is flimsy -- it moved down when bumped my desk.

Oooh, that hurts !! 🙁 Just cancelled my order! I do game, and i am happy knowing the static image quality is superb, but as soon as we bring video into the matter, its just doesnt cut it. And i am quite fussy.

Well I tried out the L1920p and I have to say it's going back. It's very nice but still ghosts. Now I know I have to wait for 16ms 19" panels. Hopefully won't be longer than 6 months.

Was the L1920P really that bad for games?? What games did you play and to what extent did you notice the ghosting? I was considering buying this monitor.

It wasn't that bad. I didn't notice it in nba live 2004, but noticed it in unreal tournament. The colors were really nice. It is a typical ghosting 25ms 19".
