Hello all, ive purchased an LG monitor 34UM69G that has this option: 1ms motion blur.

What exactly is? I searched on internet but didn't find anything for me.
Is it better to active it or just put it off?

I just see that my eyes are a bit disturbed when enabled, specially on white pages.

Thank you

motion blur reduction strobes the backlight to mask the display transitioning from one frame to another. Typically, it will cause your brightnness to decrease. It also probably uses some sort of overdrive to get that lower response time which can cause overshooting. If those two side-effects hurt your eyes then I'd just turn them off.
