Hello everyone, I have just built my PC and when I connected monitor to PC using HDMI High Speed cable I got message:
HDMI
No Signal
Entering power saving mode...
Monitor has HDMI and VGA ports, VGA cable comes with monitor but I bought HDMI because on motherboard I got HDMI, Display Port and DVI-D.
GPU is sent and should arrive shortly but again it has same type of ports.
I tried to do troubleshooting myself:
1. Tried to connect with HDMI with 2 PCs and 1 Laptop - None worked
2. Went to store and changed for new HDMI - Repeated step 1 and again same results
3. Old PC has DVI-I so I bought adapter from VGA to DVI-I and when connected monitor works.
4. Connected new PC to friends monitor using his Display Port+Cable and verified that my PC is booting up.
5. I unplugged HDMI from PC while monitor is working and I get message:
No Signal
Please check your connection
NOTE: There isn't source button bellow to change for different inputs.
UPDATE:
Monitor port or cable isn't problem, now confirmed that it works by using GPU HDMI port on friends pc.
Now I suspect that my PC might not be setup properly or that HDMI port on motherboard is broken or something along those lines.
Is there way to fix this somehow or I should try to RMA it?
