Right now the monitor looks terrible out of the box and cant find a good video or page. Can barely see in escape from tarkov

Change brightness and contrast on it first to find a setting you like. Game settings and driver options also have a lot you can play with. There is no single best setting, depends on what you like and how dark the game is in general.
