LG 24GM77 Not Reaching 144hz

Hello everyone,

So I've installed my new 24GM77 monitor using the provided DVI-D Dual Link cord, but my computer still won't let me choose 1920x1080 @ 144hz as an input. It keeps limiting me to 60hz.

Does anybody know how to fix this? Thank you.

Windows 10, GTX 970, monitor shows up as Generic PnP monitor.

EDIT:

I was just able to get my computer to detect the actual monitor. All of the latest drivers are installed, however I still cannot achieve 60hz when in advanced display settings > properties

Installing the drivers directly from their site (your link), and uninstalling/clean installing NVidia's drivers did the trick for me. Once the monitor was recognized by my PC, I was able to adjust the monitor settings in NVidia's control panel.
