Hi guys!

please help me to decide which display should i buy
mainly im playing fps games and watching movies on my display so the main thing is the:

ips panel
low input lag
27"
~330$
i also want to stay at 1080p res coz i dont want to kill my vga

i wondering at these 2: LG 27EA63V, 27EA33V my question is the dynamic contrast killable at these models?

also if u have any nice idea within this price range it would be appreciated

and a side question maybe somebody can answer it: what the -B or -P letter means after the model type at the shop site where i can buy one of these

im sure this is a nice one im looked it also but i would stay at the lower price range because if the G-Sync monitors price drops down i definitely want to buy one and when this time comes and i have to sell the display which i buying now i want to lose less money

it cost a lot of time to wait for g-sync price drop and i have to buy something now for sure. i have no decent display atm

basically you are in the worst possible time to buy a monitor. new tech is coming out, and old tech is becoming cheaper...you need to make the decision because you can totally cheap out now, and go big later, or you can buy something good now, but not be able to have as much budget for better later on...and if you are willing to pay in the $300's for a monitor now, what's the $30 for assured quality? Don't eat out twice, and instead buy sandwich materials for a week. I know this may not be your situation at all, but considering you have this much money for a monitor, and are already thinking about g-sync, it already implies that you also have a g-sync compatible card, which is also in the $250-300 range or more

Id say buy a fairly nice monitor now, then you can use it as your second screen when you get around to buying a g-sync monitor (2 screens is actually pretty useful)

actually im already own a low budget secndary monitor 😛 i done some research about g sync and saw this normal monitor>gsync monitor uprage kit.. any chance to upgrade the MX279H to g sync in the future?

Im in class right now so can't take the time to look it up, but all you really need to do is type in "g-sync upgradeable monitors" and do some searching for a list of g-sync compatible monitors
