I use to have LG 32GN650-B Ultragear Gaming Monitor 32” QHD (2560 x 1440) Display, 165Hz Refresh Rate, 1ms MBR, HDR 10, sRGB 95% Color Gamut, AMD FreeSync – Black & images seemed to pop more, on my new 32GR93U, things don't drrm as easy to see. I have a RTX 20060ti 8 gig, that might be it. Their are videos that don't seem to look righ. Could that be my OS somehow? I have Manjaro KDE Plasma, I have no odd settings though.

The LG32GN650-B from what I can tell is a VA screen whereas the 32GR93U is an IPS screen. That means that the old monitor has a higher contrast ratio (3000:1) than the newer monitor (1000:1). Overall contrast ratio is important for things having "pop" to the image as there is a larger difference between lighter and darker parts of an image. This is why OLED monitors are so nice because they have a near infinite contrast ratio.

What about LG's black IPS? I haven't seen much of them.U have a Spectrum one 27' 4k, but that menu, nope. So back to my LG. I would get OLED, but the risk of burn in. I did find a SAMSUNG 32" UJ59 is that better than my 32GR93U?

The black IPS gets around 2000:1 contrast ratio which is better than normal IPS but not VA level. The UJ59 is a VA panel again with around 3000:1 contrast ratio. For OLED there is a chance of burn-in but it isn't as bad as people think. For example I have an LG C8 I bought in 2019 and have played a lot of Switch games on it. I run the pixel refresher every once in a while if I have been doing a lot of gaming on the screen for multiple days in a row. After 6 years I don't have any burn-in on the screen. There are also reddit threads with people asking about burn-in on OLED monitors and most people haven't had any issues. A lot of the screens now have a pixel orbitor that moves the image around something like 8 pixels so you don't notice it but it does prevent the image from getting stuck.

AOC Q27G3XMN 27" 2K QHD Gaming Monitor
Mostly good numbers at rtngs, would like a 4k 32' but oh well. God, I wish more would let you choose glossy, DOUGH (bad name IMO) does, but they have just 2 monitors nowe/ Plus, LG has 1 dconsumer miniled, but they say it sucks & it is IPS, so low contrst anyway. A 32' 4k would be better, but I don't want a OLED. I want a flat panal though. Same or better specs though.

I found that the conreast is rated at 8.8 a RTNGS. My Soectrum 27' 4k IPS is a bit small for that menu & the control is sensitive.

Overall it looks like a decent monitor. Going with a 27" QHD also is easier on the GPU than a 32" 4k.
