No GTX 1080s drive monitors such as 1440p perfectly and this monitor has a lower resolution than that. You could use this with a 1070 even no real problem.

This is a very impressive product. I can see you guys were clearly impressed by this, and I'd love to get one. Sad that the entire comment section so far is griping that it isn't 1440...

How is this an impressive product? Ignoring the wrong link, a google search shows this to be around $650. For a 1080p???? You can get a 32" 1920x1080p for $300. Or an older LG 34" ultrawide for $300.

If you buy this you're locking yourself into crappy hardware. Because there's no reason to own a GPU better than a Radeon 480 or an Nvidia 1060 if all you do is run at 2560x1080. No point in upgrading the rest of your computer hardware if your monitor is at this res.

1080 vertical is a great resolution for this panel! Those bashing 1080p are ignoring the fact that some of us prefer performance over flair. Im also willing to bet they have never experience a good performing set-up themselves. For too long manufacturers have been pushing laggy, blurry, stuttery over-the-top resolutions in order to charge an excess. We've had no choice but to pay more for less. Personally, make it bigger and I'm there.

I would get if it was 29", ultrawide 1080p @144Hz is perfect for me. But 29" is my ideal size and also has a good pixel density.

I would get a 29" version. 34" is too big for a normal desk/sitting distance for me. And the pixel density of a 29" would be better as well. 1080p @144hz would be doable for many games without going crossfire.

uh no? this is a 144hz monitor, are you sure single 1080 can do 144hz constant on current games @ 1440p? or even 1080p?
