Today I got myself a new monitor, an LG 34UC79G. It has mediocre light bleed and when I crank it to 120 Hz and up it shows this curly grey line best seen on light colors (see picture), but shows on every color except black and white. It doesn't show on 100 Hz and down but it is subtle at 120 Hz and worst at 144 Hz. I tried DP and HDMI, different ports on my 1070ti and it's the same story.
My question is what is this and should I be worried or return it for a new one? It doesn't bother me a lot but I do notice it. I tried massaging pixels and it didn't help :D.

Solution
I'd say it's a monitor problem, not sure if they'll accept it back though, seems like a smudge kinda thing.
it's very minor and you likely wouldn't be able to see it during actual gameplay.

Hey James, thanks for your fast answer. Combine that with this light bleed and please tell me what you think.
