LG Browser not 4k

Hi!
The browser of LG TVs (such aus LG ELECTRONICS 49UJ651V Ultra HD 4K HDR LCD Smart TV) seems not to support 4K -> the resolution is lower.
Has any body observed the same issue? Can this be modified? I googled and looked at the website of the manufacturer - I didn't find a hint or a solution for this...

You are probably correct, while the TV may be 4k, the interface and programs may not be.
