[SOLVED] LG CX not detecting old console via antenna in

Hi,

I am trying to connect my Dreamcast console to my LG CX television. I’ve connected it to the antenna in at the back of the TV but the TV tries to display digital television instead (even though the aerial is disconnected) which results in a blank screen.

On old televisions if you disconnect the aerial and plug in the console it displays the console, but for dome reason the LG CX wants to display what isn’t there which doesn’t make sense.

Anyone know how to make the LG CX detect the console?

arent you supposed to scan for analog channels? on some analog channel your console should be there

I didn’t try to scan so will give that a go later and update If that works.

Kerberos was right, all you need to do is rescan with the LG CX when connecting old devices to the antenna input.
