lg g3 screen sharpening?

i was wondering since i installed the cloudyg3 rom and can lower the sharpening, i was wondering if i lower the sharpening could it save battery?

Screen sharpening? Never heard this term but no, its most likely like a "filter" so it's software related, and that usually doesn't affect battery life as much unless you play games on your phone or watch videos.

Please enlighten me on the screen sharpening matter, I don't seem to understand it.

the lg g3 is over sharpened because of the quad hd display i was wondering is i turn that down if it could save battery overall?

I don't think it will save battery but what you can do is look for a custom kernel that has that as a feature, I've looked it up real quick and it seems like its a kernel change that turns the effect off.

I found this, don't know if it'll work for you, but as the OP said you can back up boot and if it doesn't work, just flash the boot backup back.
