Recently my Android Lg G3 stopped recognising my Sd card after the uptade to 5.0 lolipop. I looked online for a solution but i did not find one no were. So i decided to RMA my card. Two days ago i removed my card to plug it to my pc to transfer some video and boom the card was not recognised anymore by my phone. I finally found the solution it is very simple.
Solution: Plug the Sd card to any computer and delete the LG Backup folder and then your phone should be able to read it.
I don't know why but each-time I remove the card i have to delete the lg backup folder for it to be read in my phone.
