hey guys i updated my phone to marshmellow and was wondering is it possible to root it and get twrp custom recovery i was reading how to but seen where it said it wont work on 10n and not to downgrade to 10h but i have a newer version which is 20i and want to root and add twrp custom recovery please help thanks. site i was reading http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/development/tool-one-click-twrp-root-t3172936

The link you provided is a non-root TWRP install method, and it isn't even for your version of Android. There are plenty of ROMs for 20i/Android 6.0; it is advised that you use one of those instead.
