Question LG Gram Daughterboard (Area) Ticking like a wind-up toy

It’s like 15 quick ticks over 2 seconds, then nothing over next 5 seconds.. Over and over.

I cannot find a cause online - ticking or clicking always coincides with Battery Charging (and for some minutes after any charging). Same sound whether charging by factory cable to dedicated power port or by USB-C cable to USB-C port.
Ideas of cause or fix?

LG Call Center says they have no knowledge of this ever happening, but Google has many reports of this issue. LG Tech support would need to have my laptop for a month to review and maybe fix, so I welcome any assistance or advice you can offer!

If it´s not the fan, it´s clearly hardware related with a component or components soldered onto the board or the battery itself.
Could be the case expanding while heated up battery during charging
