The spec tho says it has a response time of 16ms, so even better than you thought!?

I'll let you know what its like as soon as I get it & have had a play!

I got mine for £360 inc vat & delivery here in the UK, which I didn't think was bad for its spec in comparison to some others.

As promised, here are my initial thoughts, entirely unscientific I might add!!

ITS BLOODY GREAT!!

Hardly any border round the screen, lovely and bright, clear & crisp image. Contrast and colour is lovely. I have had a quick look at some of my digital photos & they look so diferent!

I have it connected to my Sony laptop, which we previously thought had a good screen, but now it looks dull, murky & a little grubby!! How am I going to work now!!??

I haven't changed any monitor settings other than drop the brightness down to 85, at 100 its too bright!

Overall I am well pleased with it, but again, I am only comparing it to Sony laptops really, so how valid an opinon it is, I'm not sure. Still, we have managed UT2003 fine on them up to now!! ;-)

I´m also about to choose one lcd and this model is one of two i have considered best choices.

the other is a Sony 17" - SDM-HS73.

My question is do you have played any game whith the lg screen?? anyway have you noticed ghost images due to a high response time (i know that is 16ms but i consider your opinion the best indicator)

yep i got one last week for £300 ;-) and the response time is 20ms. Im glad I sold my 22"Crt I have so much more deskspace. And I dont see any diffrence when Im playing games. Only the viewing angle takes a little getting used too
