They could make a 5.5" screen with a 1080p resolution yet 1080p is still the mainstream for 24" desktop monitor?....... sigh......

Who cares? They can't even make half enough nexus 4s, maybe they should work on that instead.. The nexus 4 almost made me buy an LG phone, but after this fiasco they will never get my money. The only reason to pick an LG would be an extremely low price,and they obviously can't handle that, so f*** them..

good work LG.. now fix your bleedingLED backlight on all of your LCD products.. it's been years yet you still haven't figure out backlight issues on your old and new products..

Smartphones are the new hype, pity pc monitors are left behind.
Even now, there are a lot of laptops that have a a low resolution on 15.6. Not many models have 1920x1080 resolutions, and still, smartphone with 5 inches diagonals get fullHD resolutions.
Talk about priorities.

Is this really needed? I mean, I don't mind advancing things but with such a small screen how many will truly tell the difference? Also how is this going to effect the prices? Smart Phones are already insanely priced without taking a new contract with a carrier.
