LG monitor turns off

i have the most annoying problem in the world.
i have just bought LG 24MP55 monitor and every time i shut down my computer my monitor turns off too after 10 seconds. For power saving reasons...
I regret every moment i bought this screen.
Monitor settings doesnt have any option for this
Any idea?

Why would you want the monitor to remain on after shutdown?

Do you mean it's turning off instead of entering "standby" mode (which is normal behavour when there's no video signal)?

Yes this is what i mean. Since now with my previous monitors i had to turn on only my computer

I still wouldn't say it's "the most annoying problem in the world", pretty trivial if you ask me, though I will concede it's not supposed to do that (unless it's some new EU electrical directive to further reduce power consumption).
