Question LG tv monitor upgrade

Hi everyone

For the last 5 years I've been using the LG 27MT55 SPZ tv monitor as my pc monitor. It's a 27" full hd(1080p) ips panel @60hz, I don't know about its sRGB color gamut coverage (never found a mention of it).

I bought it to be able to also watch TV but now I don't need that option. My main activities include coding, photo editing, web surfing and occasionally watching movies (I mostly do the latter on a projector though).

Since I have photography as a hobby, I'm thinking of upgrading to a Dell Ultrasharp U2719D, a 27" qhd (1440p) ips panel display, which has 100% coverage of sRGB color space.

Do you think it's worth the investment? Will I see difference in colors? will it be more comfortable even for coding?

The Dell is a better display. If it's worth the cost to switch would be up to you. You can fit more on the screen due to higher resolution. You would have to compare the two side by side to decide if one is better enough to be worth the cost to you.
