LG TV not detected on PC when tv is off

I have a LG TV connected to my PC, along with my monitor, via HDMI to play games. When I turn off my TV, the monitor flashes and the PC reverts to using a single display. When I turn the TV back on, the pc goes back to dual display. This doesn't happen when I turn my monitor off. Is there a way to stop this reverting back and forth, so I get dual monitors whether the tv is on or off? Thanks

No. You are turning off the primary, so then your secondary (monitor) becomes the primary. If you turn off a secondary your primary monitor DOES NOT CARE!
