So I got a killer deal on a new CD/blue ray player.. I needed one. Got this LG UH12NS40 shipped to my door for 35 bucks... I however DID NOT notice it was an OEM.
Got the box in with absolutely nothing but the drive, no discs or anything.
My uh oh sensors are going off already.
I checked out LG's web site for driver support for that model, and even though the site shows the model, the drivers/software search on UH12NS40 is not fruitful. Nothing there...
Supposing I do get the drive to be recognized by windows 10 (chances are no) what can I do about actually playing blue rays and dvds software wise? Do I have to buy cyberlink mediu suite for 50 bucks? Is there free stuff that works?
Does anyone have anything they can tell me? Or should I just blast this thing RIGHT back to newegg immediately. Thanks!
