Backlight is a form of illusion used in LCDs. LED lighting is one form of backlightning. Therefore, it's not wrong to call LED monitors LCD monitors, it's just less specific.

I think the slim bezel is great in side-by-side monitor configuration, but from the looks of the monitors back side I don't think it has VESA monitor "holders", so could fix them to some third-party 3x1 monitor rigs.

They cant use LED as the name because the display technology is LCD. Big sellers foul you when they call it LED monitor and it just LED backlighting.

I guess 1920 x 1200 is not being produced anymore. More PC hardware becoming TV/Kiddie console friendly.

I've got 2560 x 1600 and I'm never going back to 1920 x 1080. Come on, LG, you can do better.

The display panel might be slim but I see a problem. The base and arm take up quite a bit of space. It defeats the purpose of a slim design.

I have three 1920x1200 monitors. I need to be going the direction of 2560x1600s, "2007 called they want their 1080p panels back" ... well said! My mom uses a 1920x1200... 'nuff said. I like soldier37, it is 2560x1600 time now.

Right now, the only thin thing I want on an LCD/LED monitor is the bezel. Give me a bezel that is only a mm or 2 thick.
