So I've been looking to build a computer and I've been given a recommended build list by one of the users on here but there is a question I have about the ram and motherboard.

RAM

Motherboard

With the above items I've encountered what may or may not be an issue. The ram says "Compatible with Intel LGA1155/LGA1156 and AMD AM3/Llano/AM3+ platforms
Intel XMP support for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors" while the motherboard is claiming to use a LGA1150 CPU type. If I'm correct this RAM will fit into this board but I need to know if the difference in numbers is anything I should worry about?

Solution
As long as the ram is 240 pin DDR3, which it is, you are fine. Additionally, the RAM is clocked at 1600mhz, which is also supported by the motherboard.

Will this setup support use of an I5 processor with a LGA1150 socket type?
