LGA 1150 motherboard with simultaneous AHCI and RAID

I bought an ASUS Z87-PRO motherboard and discovered that I can't run both AHCI and RAID disks. Does anyone know of an LGA 1150 motherboard that supports both simultaneously?

If you set to RAID, other singular disks should run under AHCI

I am set to RAID. When I run the Samsung Magician software it says that my SSD drive is not using AHCI so is not performing optimally. Maybe this is a bogus warning?

Are you using it in one of the Intel SATA slots? and have the Intel SATA drivers loaded?

Definitely connected to the Intel SATA slots.

The Device Manager shows a Microsoft device driver for the Z87 chip set. Perhaps that is the problem,

After getting the latest Intel chip set drivers from the Asus site and installing them, the Samsung Magician software still reports the boot drive is not using AHCI. Oh well....

I am already running with RAID so that part is good.
