[SOLVED] LGA 1151/1151 300 series

Will the intel i9 that requires the LGA 1151 (300 series) socket.. work in just a normal 1151 socket? I’ve read yes and I’ve read no?

What do you mean by normal 1151 socket? If you mean an older gen, 100/200 series using the same socket then unfortunately not. Socket may appear the same but 100 and 200 series sockets are slightly different and aren't capable of powering 8th/9th gen properly.
