lga 1151 cpu heatsink

My pc is alrdy put together and i really do not want to take out the motherboard, and mount a new heatsink. Is there a good after market cooler good for overclocking that i can get, that wont rewuire me to take my board out of my case.

Are you saying there's no access to the back of the motherboard? Did you get a cheap case? List all your parts.

There is no good cooler for overclocking without a backplate. The back plate is needed to ensure a good fit and a proper mounting for a biggish piece of kit.

I have installed a couple of coolers by unscrewing the board from the case, but without disconnecting most of the cables. It takes a couple of hours to do it properly.

I mean when i take the side panel off i have a little space to work with is that enough room to mount the 212 evo,

I don't know that case well. It's about 180mm wide, so I'd go with a shorter cooler, say a CRYORIG H7. What is the height from the motherboard to the side of the case? Can you measure it? A RAIJINTEK Pallas will fit height-wise.

The case has a cpu cutout for a cooler mounting plate. It will be easy to do just be carefull. The Cryorig H7 is a high quality tower cooler and will fit the cases width of 7.87". Unplug power before working on it. Safety first!

I mean it fits a 212 evo i had it on my amd 8320fx , but i gave that cpu motherboard and ram to my fiance. I was going to keep the 212 evo for myself, but i did not want to take it apart, and buy her a stock cooler.

The 212 is a hassle to mount. If your case has a motherboard cut out, anything will be quite easy to mount.

is the Cryorig H7 easy to mount while the motherboard is alrdy in my case and stuff. Also do you kno where i can get it for the best price. Im on a budget.

As I said, if your case has a motherboard cutout as was suggested above (I don't know the case myself) then any cooler will be comparatively easy to install, even the 212, which has its issues.
