So the title says it all ive been looking at the ekwb a240g liquid cooling kit for GPU and CPU but it says its compatible with 115x and lga 2011 and 2066 so i was wondering will that cooler fit on a Intel i5 6600k with a GIGABYTE AORUS GA-Z270X-Gaming 7 motherboard.

Solution
Yes that will fit that socket. 115x means 1155,1156,1151 (which is what you have). But why are you using a 6600K for the Z270? Not to mention, Air cooling may be a easier and cost efficient cooling solution as well. I was able to get a nice stabled overclock at 4.6 with my 6600K, and I was using a Hyper 212 EVO and I never reached 60c. I think you will be wasting $250, that's just my three cents.

thank you for answering but the reason i have that mother board is beacause sometime soon im upgrading to a i7 7700k and im getting the watercooler because i can cool my cpu and my gpu which i have a gtx 1080ti and i would liike to keep it cooler and also for the aesthetics

All that makes sense (not the aesthetics part). As long as you wasn't wasting money. But if you can hold out until the end of the year, NVIDIA may have another GPU on their hands.
