LGA 2011-1 atx motherboard for xeon e7

What do you have with xeon cpu's? Those are server cpu's, not gaming cpu's. An I7 4790k on a z97 board would certainly beat everything you could get out of xeon's.

From the your user name and case, I think you maybe use the computer for game, and the xeon e7 is too much (budget) for the gaming pc. And you need the LGA1567 motherboard like from supermicro for the intel xeon e7.

I recommend to get the either H97 or z97 + xeon e3 1230/1231 V3 ( w/o intel iGPU) or e3 1245 V3 ( with intel iGPU). If you have 1600mhz RAM and buy the H97 motherboard, because RAM speed support limit. And get the best GPU you can afford.

Why would you want a Xeon E7 for gaming? It's not a gaming processor by any stretch of the imagination. The Xeon E7-8893v2 is a $10,000 processor that's mainly used for enterprise level servers.

You could use a Xeon E3, but better would be an Intel i5-4690K or i7-4790K.

First of all thanks for the urgent reply and let me know you that I would like to be my computer super fast not only for gaming but also for heavy software uses. I was going to buy Xeon E5 v3 processor but its motherboards would supports DDR4 memory as you know which is very expensive in the todays market and I don't want to buy dd4 memory so I want to use ddr3 as is currently in my pc that is why I was gong to buy Xeon e7 v2 processor becoz its mobo would supports ddr3 memory...

LGA 1567 ATX motherboard for gigbabyte Sumo Alpha mid tower casing or any Xeon e7 v2 supported motherboards which would be available in the market as or supermicro atx motherboard?

And how is this gigabyte motherboard GA x79 ud3 but its chipset also not supports Xeon E5 v3 series processors, It supports only Xeon e5 v2 processors so please suggest me is it good enough for hard core gaming and heavy 3d animation?

There is a lot of confusion between one of those processors as Xeon E5 v3 supports DDR4 memory and as Xeon E7 v2 supports ddr3 memory so tell me why Intel would do this?

I want an ATX motherboard which supports Xeon E7 processor and dd3 ram so is there any motherboard available in the market?

hi, I will buy a processor in used from any online stores websites as like amazon,newegg and ebay etc
I just want to buy new ATX mobo and Xeon e7 processor as low as under the e7 series

That is a good point. :lol:

Spend $2500 on a gaming PC and put the rest in the bank. Spending $10,000 on a server processor that has no applicable use in a gaming PC is definitely not something that should be done.

Is gigabyte GA-x79 ud3 ATX motherboard enough for hard core gaming which supports Xeon e5 and Xeon E5 v2 processors?
