[SOLVED] LGA 2011 sockets for small servers?

Simple Question and i only need confirmation:

Is a LGA 2011 Socket suppose for small servers?

why is that i am asking? because most processors i see on the market are xeon processors.

So i assume a motherboard with a LGA 2011 socket is for small servers?

Please help me out with this so i can learn from it

There were desktop grade processor available to the masses. They came under the Core i7 branding so it's not just Xeon's for that socket.
