LGA 2011 vs 2011-v3 Cooler compatibility

Hello all,

I am about to pull the trigger on a corsair H90, but not sure if it will fit my new 2011-v3. I am cooling a 5820k @base clock. Are they much different in form factor? Other than extra pins, I just need to know if this will fit? I am assuming yes. They list it as 2011 compatible, but if the form factor and size never changed I do not see why it wouldn't on a 2011-v3..

H 90 is compatible with 2011-v3. Coolers compatible with 2011 are compatible with 2011-3 as well. Corsair has updated the compatibility of their products. Check it at:
