[SOLVED] LGA 771 to 775 Xeon

Hello. how is everyone doing so...
I am building a system with the lga 771 to 775 socket mod. Still waiting on the parts want to be sure this will work. This is the part list ; motherboard : Asus p5e vm hdmi, cpu : xeon x5450(checked and works with this mobo and mod) , ram : 8gb ddr2. i can update to latest bios and the system should work from the start. however should i need to edit the microdes and anything else how do i do that any advice would be appreciated thanks.

But The x5450 is basically the same as a Q9650 so I'm not sure that the mod will do very much for you. X5470 3.33GHz would be more worthwhile.
But I guess if that MB allows overclocking it will work out alright.
