Hello, I found that the cooler (Silentium PC Fortis 5) does not sit correctly on the cpu (i5-12400f) and on the center of the cpu there is a spot were the cooler doesn't touch the cpu at all.
I have the following configuration:
Gigabyte Z690 UD DDR4
i5 12400f
2x8GB DDR4
PCI-e 4.0 main ssd
2x sata ssd's
1x sata hdd
RTX 3060 12GB
Super Flower 650W PSU
The temperatures are about 60 C with intel burn test, at a room temperature of about 20 C, while running intel burn test, and reading the temps with HW monitor. I know that the temps are good, but I am wondering what would happen with that spot there the heatsink doesn't thouch the cpu ?
I am searching to buy a contact frame for the cpu, but I have some question about this
1. If my cpu is already bent by the original mounting system, then the contact frame can revert this bending ?
2. If I will buy the next gen of CPU from Intel, then this contact frame will be compatible with it ?
