Question Lga775 all over bast processor name?

The most modern CPUs for LGA775 are the Yorkfield based Core 2 Quads eg. Q9350, Q9550, QX9770. Do keep in mind that these CPUs are now 10 years old, and outside of basic tasks are really starting to show their age. If you are looking at playing certain modern AAA titles some won't even launch because the Core 2 Quads don't have support for modern instruction sets like SSE4.1 or AVX.

At this point if you still have an LGA775 system and want to do anything with it beyond basic web browsing, video playback and office tasks, it's time to look at an entirely new system, the platform is simply obsolete at this point.

its unlocked yes its a lga771 cpu but if you do the mod you can have it working

heres my specs https://valid.x86.fr/dwlkt2 i did the mod and updated the micro codes for a x5470 but i want to switch since i just found out the qx9775 is a beast. say what you will about lga775 mobo but they still have gaming life

the qx9775 is really a xeon x5482 that has more support for gaming out of any xeons. plus you dont need a (E.S) chip this is already unlocked.

ill let you know if my board will handle it people have overclocked to 5ghz on a 200 dollar cpu i mean yeah its not cheap but compaired to a dd4 system it is cheaper
