Hello, it's been a long time since I've built a PC and hardware has changed a ton. I've decided to retire my 2500k GTX 970 build.
I've decided on a configuration of a 9700k which I hope to run at 5GHz, 2080 TI, 16GB G.Skill 3200 ram, in a Lian-Li 011 Dynamic or Air case.
I prefer the look of the dynamic but with my thermal needs I'm worried it may be more restrictive than the air. I've settled on the NZXT X72 for CPU cooling.
I'm looking for advice on fan configurations and opinions on the air vs dynamic. With the air I was thinking the X72 mounted in the front with intake fans then 3x120mm fans exhausting out the top. For the dynamic I'm unsure if the X72 could fit in the side mounted location, so I might be limited to mounting it on top, in that case I don't know what to compliment it with in the side fan location and whether to exhaust or intake.
Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.
