My Lian Li DK07X "Case" arrived today. My wife is not happy...

Obviously a lot of extraneous packaging so if you remove and dispose of the excess as quickly as possible she should be much happier.

You're not kidding. I started unpacking it, and 25% of the cost must be due to packaging. This is about the most securely packed item I've seen.

Also, Lian Li designed the packaging to be used as an assembly platform. It's just the right height for attaching the legs. It makes assembly doable for one person. So, no one should "dispose of the excess as quickly as possible".

All-in-all, I am quite impressed. I'm liking my purchase more and more.

This shows how some of the small pieces and accessories were packed. Foam with custom cutouts, heavy-duty partitions, and lots of padding. The thick foam and partitions also keep the assembly platform stable while you attached the legs.
