Question Lian Li Lancool II Mesh Performance - Fan Speed

Case fans on my Lancool II work fine in PWM/BIOS control mode - switch on the far right.
But recently the manual Slow/Medium/Fast speeds no longer work. They all spin at the same speed, about 1450. This is new, as they worked fine up until about a month ago. I wonder if something electrical fried the fan switch? Anyway, I wrote to Lian Li tech support a week ago but they haven't responded yet. The case is only 7 months old, so it should still be in warrentee. I'd like to replace the fan controller w/o having to RMA the entire case. Any suggestions?

normally they would just send a new fan controller to replace yourself.

i've had similar issues with be quiet!, Fractal Design, Corsair, and Anidees with both LED and fan control hubs.
each time the manufacturer was pretty quick to send a replacement after an initial communication that were easily swapped out.

if you try to manually replace the switch with a 3rd party option you may end up voiding any manufacturer warranty.
though this would be impossible for them to tell without you sending the entire case back for examination after the attempted fix.

I wrote to Lian Li tech support a week ago but they haven't responded yet.

i would wait for them to reply and see what they may be offering.

usually would take a week or 2 for support to respond.
just keep checking your ticket on their support pages.

not that this is really a big deal.

just setup a proper fan curve for each set of fans so the speed alters as necessary depending on temperature.
these are pretty nice cases, so hopefully it included nicer PWM fans.
