Hello,

I was wondering if anybody has this case and what their opinions were on it. link below.

Also I was wondering if this case would be ok for my setup below as far as cooling. I will not be doing any overclocking. I just don't know if this case has enough cooling or if it is something I shouldn't worry about or not. I picked this case because wanted an all aluminum case with a window that isn't too flashy. Let me know if there is another case I should look at. Also is my power supply enough for my setup or should I get an 850W power supply.

Power Supply – Corsair 750HX 750W
Motherboard – Asus Crosshair III Formula
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
Memory – Corsair Dominator 4GB (2 X 2GB) DDR3 1600
2 Video Cards – Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 Crossfire
2 Hard Drives – Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB
DVD Drive – Asus Blue-Drive Sata BC-08B1ST

Well, for that your going to need around a 1kw PSU.

One of the best 1kw PSUs at a good price:

You will also need more cooling than that Lian Li can give for 2 5970s, the silverstone should do fine.

Here is an even better case, possibly my favorite case on the market:

It is a bit more expensive, but the features you get with it are extremely useful, it is also a Full Tower, not a mid tower.

OK, So are video cards of the future always going to be roughly 3 inches longer than like the ATI 5770?

I don't mind paying more for a case, and power supply. I just don't want a year to go buy, and the have to buy a new case and power supply to upgrade my video cards.

I was actually looking at the FT01 and FT02, but opted for the Lian Li cases because it was all aluminum and sexier in my opinion. I probably will go with the ft02 and a larger power supply, so I wont have a problem with the video cards. I will have to sacrifice sexiness for my needs. Any other all aluminum case under $300 that would be comparable to the FT02?

Thanks AMW1011, I didn't realize the 5870 and 5970 were so big, I really never looked at them. just the graphics charts on Toms Hardware. That is how I cam up with in my opinion for now is - 2 5770 are the best for the money.

That is a pretty average PSU, I've seen high DOA rates.

That is the same silverstone PSU.

If you must have a black PSU then the Silverstone will work I suppose, but you could get a great PSU that is garenteed to perform superbly and use black stickers or spray paint to cover up the "bling".

THE NV is much bigger. take a look at the fans and the white sticker. It seems to have more connectors too with what i am seeing.

i personally got the evo blue from thermaltake the 750w version which has been tested at 900 wats for 10 hrs straigt and it didnt flinch you need to shop quality before cosmetics.. find a quality brand like thermaltake or corsair and then pick one out of them...
