Hi all

I was looking at the the LIAN LI PC-O11 case, has good cooling capabilities, looks nice, and seems like it is easy to install a system in it.

Any thoughts on the case?

Thanks!

Solution
I basically have three cases that are on the table at the moment;

1. LIAN PC-O11

2. fractal Design R6

3. Fractal design meshify S2

Because I mean $200.00 for a case is quite a bit. If there was a case like the LIAN, but less expensive than I would probably get it. And I mean I like the S2 but again, $200.00, when you could get something like the R6 for ~ 20% less.

The R6 (and therefor S2) along with the O11 are solid cases...

I've shared my thoughts with you previously, and the Meshify-C is where I'd look ($110-$120).
But if you like the slightly larger aspect of the R6, S2 and O11, then perhaps some of these offerings might interest you (for near half the price).

Air or Dynamic?

Both are solid options in their respective categories - Air cooling or Liquid cooling.

I was looking at the the dynamic one https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112583&ignorebbr=1 I really enjoy this case, the capabilities on it are nice, there is extra room (in terms of my system) and the PSU position makes it really easy to install a system.

@I Josh I did you end up going with liquid cooling:? If not, the "Air" variant may well be a better choice.

I thought you were set on the Meshify S2? 🤣
Uh, liquid cooling was the path I chose.

I liked the Meshify S2, but as I was just seeing what other options I had I came across this guy which I liked more than the S2.

I am very indecisive. 👌

I mean, the S2 is also $190.00.

I like the the look of the O11 compared to the S2, it looks more impressive (in my opnion). And I like the setup up a bit more, like installing new hardware seems pretty easy because of how the PSU is positioned and cable management as well. Also, the cooling capabilities are quite nice, whether you want to do liquid cooling or air cooling, or even a bit of both, the case allows you to that with plenty of space.

Just my two cents.

And the thermaltake core p3 is a pretty nice case, I personally don't like the open aspect of it. Not for me.

Wow, that's the pricetag on the S2? From a value standpoint, that's a bit tough to justify - a 20% markup over the R6 for the mesh panel...

I guess if you like the O11 and are prepared to drop ~$190 on the S2, it's a viable option,.

Looking at my $55 plain black mid-tower Corsair 100R....

<hangs head in shame>

<Then remembers the case merely sits on the floor anyway near the TV anyway...! :)>

You guys/gals and your $200,$300, and even $400 cases! :)

I haven't decided on anything yet and I mean I totally agree that $200.00 is quite a bit, that's why I am seeing what is available. Because if I am going to be dropping $200.00, the case should look good, perform great, and built well than my current one.

Thanks for suggesting these! I will have to take a look at a closer look at them.
