License Question

Hi all,

Please forgive my ignorance but figuring out TS licensing is tougher than
Chinese Arithmetic.....I am setting up a TS Server (2003) to run 1
application for only 2 users. I have the client side licensing taken care
of. What I'd like to know, is what do I need at the actual server in the way
of licensing?

Do I just need to activate it as a TS License server? If I don't, will it
stop working after the 120 day grace period? I've read Microsoft's article
regarding TS Licensing and I may as well have been reading Russian!

Thanks for any advice or help,

Steve V.

For the server itself, you just need the 2003 OS license.
Installing TS and TS Licensing doesn't cost you anything extra.

Technically, if you have a maximum of 2 users, you could get away
Remote Desktop for Administration in stead of full-blown Terminal
Services. Then you wouldn't need a TS Licensing Server or TS CALs
at all.

But you wouldn't get the multi-user configuration for installed
software either, so it's probably wise to install TS anyway.
