Solution Phillip Corcoran Dec 29, 2014 Try removing the Microsoft Lifecam driver - - I know that sounds odd but it has worked for others according to this thread on the Microsoft Forum: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/microsoft-lifecam-cinema-webcam-1280x720-30fps/27ade3c0-1864-4d97-ad4f-d113bbc98158?page=2 The Lifecam will then use the default driver that's built in to Windows and with that you should get 30 FPS.
