Light on motherboard lit, fans on, but no sound from speaker or signal to monitor

New PC build, I've tried to meticulously connect everything and read through manuals to make sure I'm not missing anything, but I'm at a loss. When fired up, the led on the motherboard turns green and when booted all fans to CPU, chassis, and graphics card spin up. My mobo has no onboard graphics, so this is not an option for me. My RAM is in the correct DIMM per manual, and the case speaker is installed to the mobo. When powered on, HD spins up as well.

Speaker emits no beeps, and HDMI out to TV as well as DVI to a monitor provides no signal. I don't have another computer to test components in, so I'm having a hard time discerning what is malfunctioning or what I have improperly installed.

I've emailed ASUS support for help as I figure I should start there, but otherwise I'm at a loss and hoping someone here may have some ideas. Any feedback is appreciated! Below is some of the core hardware in the system...

AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8320FRHKBOX Desktop Processor

HyperX Fury Black Series 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model HX316C10FB/8

Unfortunately I'm getting no beeps. I've tried with RAM both in and out and it's as if the speaker isn't working, though it's connected to the motherboard correctly

CPU is supported. Try taking the board outside the case, re-seating the CPU, and starting the board with only CPU and CPU cooler installed. If the case speaker http://images17.newegg.com/is/image/newegg/12-201-032-TS?$S300W$ is properly connected, and the CPU fan does spin, you should get the beeps. If still no beeps, then either board or CPU do not work and I suggest RMA-ing them both.

I very much appreciate your help, as this confirms my beliefs as well. I'll try doing this tonight or tomorrow and replying to the feed once I've tried these steps.

Thanks again for your assistance!
