There was a lightning strike tonight and my computer must have been hit. My wife said she saw a flash from the computer room followed by a burning smell. The screen said windows resuming on it. Since it was still storming I told her to power it off from the power supply. When I got home I booted it up and selected to resume windows. Computer booted and loaded up msi afterburner and the Web pages that were left open, but won't connect to the Internet. I reset the router hoping that would fix it. When trying to resolve the issue I realized that there is no network driver or card showing. I installed a USB wireless adapter and that wouldn't show up eithereither. I tried restarting the computer and now it won't boot. Is it safe to say that the mobo is fried. Thanks for any responses. Running Windows 7 ultimate 64 amd 8350 and Asus m957a, I think.
