Lightroom Photo Editing

I am looking to turn my old gaming PC into a Photo Editing PC for my small side business.

Will the following specs work well?

CPU: Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
RAM: 6GB DDR2
GPU: AMD 5830
PSU: Antec Triple Rail 550W

I am more worried about the GPU, but for basic photo work it should be fine...right?

Up until yesterday, I was doing Lightroom editing with an AMD 6670. Slightly newer than yours, but zero issues.

I had a Gigabyte 6670 1GB. Upgraded to an XFX R9 280x. Works fine.

For Lightroom work, the 6670 was fine. The GPU doesn't really matter for Lightroom, assuming of course it is semi-recent, and not something from 2004 or earlier.

Yeah, but with new Lightroom6 it utilizes the GPU more than any other previous version.

Why, because it isn't game based? I trust and support Tom's Hardware. I don't see the issue asking advice here....?
