Hey all,
I have just finished upgrading my motherboard, from an MSI b350m gaming pro, to an ASUS b450 prime plus. Nothing else was changed, I simply swapped out the boards. As stated in the title, everything is turning on, even my keyboard lights, but I am getting no image on my monitor. My HDMI cable is plugged into the GPU, the Ram Sticks are in the second and last slots, and the standby light on my mic is even on. What am I missing? Did I need to do something on the PC before swapping boards? Any help would be great.
EDIT: Some more information, I changed removed the old thermal paste with 70% rubbing alcohol and applied new paste. Some paste did get on the motherboard. Is this a problem? Is the board shot?
