as stated in the title i cant connect to any online gaming servers but can use my internet effectively. the games im trying to connect to are league of legends, steam, and digimon masters online.
about two weeks ago my games just wont start up so after reading online responses and calling my ISP this is what i was left with:
my ISp is verizon, their customer service is completely disgusting, but after millions of transfers they made me pay for their premium service one time fee of $40 to fix my issues. so the premium service tech (PTS) spent a few hours on my pc and this is the message he left for me in notepad:
"Thank you for contacting Verizon Expert Care. It was my pleasure to assist you.
I have detected and removed 11 malware items for you today. I also cleaned and optimized your system. I have installed the latest version of Java and tested it. I also verified that you have the latest version of Flash Player and that it is working properly.
The problem you are having reaching PVP.net is a routing issue. It is outside of the Verizon network boundary, so it is outside of Verizon's control. I have made copies of a Traceroute and Ping test on your Desktop for you to review. The Traceroute shows complete routing failure about 15 hops out from your node. The Ping test shows 100% packet loss when trying to ping PVP.net.
Our session will end now. After we end this session please take a moment to fill out a brief customer survey and share your thoughts about the service. We are always looking to improve our service and your feedback is important to us. We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing Verizon.
I hope you have a nice evening!"
not sure what routing issue exactly means and he left before i could ask but i also dont see how its out of his network boundary. i have a 2 in 1 router/modem that was given to me from verizon themselves.
i play on a new cyberpower pc gaming desktop.
alll help would be greatly appreciated!
